Privacy notice
The Body Corporate for Carindale Vista Community Titles Scheme 27941 collects personal information through this application for body corporate administration, parking management, by-law compliance and any related dispute or legal process.
What is collected
- Your name, lot, contact details and occupancy status.
- Vehicle registration, make, model and colour for vehicles ordinarily kept at the scheme.
- Visitor vehicle registrations and stay times that you record. A visitor’s name is collected only where the Committee has turned that setting on.
- Photographs of vehicles on common property, taken by the onsite manager during ordinary duties, together with the times they were taken.
- Records of notices issued to you and any response you provide.
Who can see it
Access is limited to those who need it for the process. In particular:
- The onsite manager cannot search the vehicle register, cannot see whether a registration belongs to a resident, and cannot see visitor approvals or Committee deliberations.
- A towing contractor sees only the vehicle and location details for a job assigned to them, and nothing about unrelated matters.
- Other residents cannot see your lot’s information.
How long it is kept
Records are retained according to a schedule set by the Committee, because enforcement and dispute records may be needed for some years after the event. Audit records are archived rather than destroyed.
Access and correction
You may request a copy of the personal information held about you, and ask for it to be corrected. Signed-in residents can export their own data from the resident portal. Otherwise, contact the Committee at parking@carindalevista.com.au.
What is not done
This application does not use automatic number plate recognition and does not use facial recognition. Registrations are entered by hand.
