Visitor parking rules

If you are a visitor

You may use a visitor bay for up to 24 hours. To stay longer, the resident you are visiting must obtain express written permission from the Committee before the 24 hours is up.

If you live here

A vehicle belonging to, ordinarily used by, or under the control of an owner, occupier, tenant or other resident is not a visitor vehicle. Parking it in a visitor bay is a breach from the moment it is parked there.

You do not become a visitor because a guest is using your allocated space. Use your allocated parking, or park lawfully outside the scheme.

If you have received a notice

Move the vehicle, and contact the Committee at parking@carindalevista.com.au if you believe the notice was issued in error.

Sending an email does not by itself grant approval, does not fix a breach that has already happened, and does not turn a resident vehicle into a visitor vehicle. Approval only exists when the Committee issues it in writing.

The onsite manager does not monitor the parking inbox, approve visitor parking, decide whether a by-law has been breached, or decide about towing. Please direct all correspondence to the Committee.

About towing

Towing is a last resort and is never automatic. It requires a recorded decision of the Committee, current signage, a current towing contract and a current private property towing consent.
