Accessibility statement
This application aims to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Everyone in the scheme has to be able to use it — a parking notice you cannot read is not a notice you were fairly given.
What has been done
- Every function is reachable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
- Status is always conveyed in words, never by colour alone. A cancelled tow authority says “Cancelled — do not tow”, it is not merely red.
- Form fields have real labels, and validation messages are announced.
- Text can be zoomed to 200% without loss of content or function.
- Touch targets are at least 44 pixels in the onsite manager and contractor portals, which are used on phones outdoors.
- Motion is reduced automatically if your device asks for that.
Known limitations
Photographic evidence is inherently visual. Where a photograph supports a decision, the accompanying text records the registration, location and times in words so the substance of the evidence is available without seeing the image.
Feedback
If any part of this application is difficult for you to use, tell the Committee. Difficulty using the system is never a reason for a notice to stand against you — say so in your response and the Committee will take it into account.
